Charity: Special Olympics - New Orleans

Special Olympics New Orleans is the selected charity partner for the Best Damn Race® in New Orleans. Special Olympics Louisiana began in 1968 when 11 athletes from Belle Chasse State School competed in the first International Special Olympics Games in Chicago. For more than 40 years, Special Olympics has been spreading the message: people with intellectual disabilities can – and will – succeed when given a chance.
