How do I confirm registration?
What about my personalized bib?
We order our bibs a month prior to race day, for the opportunity to have your first name on your bib, please register at least one month out from race day.
What are the age requirements?
You must be at least 12 years old to participate in the Half Marathon and at least 8 years old to participant in the 5K.
Course Time Limits - Walker Friendly
Half Marathon = 3 hrs 30 minutes (Must maintain a 16 min per mile pace)
5K = 1hr (Walker Friendly)
Can a friend pick up my packet?
A friend can pick up your bib/packet; they will need a copy of your ID. Only 2 packets can be picked up at a time. If you would like to pickup more than 2 packets, you must start with 2, then go to the back of the line (if there is a line) and get 2 more.

The expo and race will go on with rain or wind. In the event there is lightning, there could be a delay, course distance change, or cancellation. Please always check your email box for race morning changes or our Facebook page for updates.

What is gear check?
We can hold your gear for you while you race; please no valuables.
Wearing your bib (WHERE to wear it to ensure photos):
We suggest wearing your bib on the front of your shirt, in between your chest & midsection area; this way it is visible for photographers so you can take advantage of your free race photos!
How do I volunteer?

Runner Tracking
Have a runner or two that you want to track, use the link below to follow; based on last name or bib number.
Race Photos
With each BDR, you get free race photos! Make sure your bib is pinned to the front of your shirt, keep an eye out for the photographers and smile! You can view yours here (and past years too!).
Change Race Distance
You can change your race distance, to a shorter distance or a longer distance. Use the link here (“Transfer to Another Event”), you will need to pay the difference if there is an increase; but our race fees are non-refundable so there are no refunds for downgrading distances.
On Course Support
On Course Medical Support ⚕️
All finish lines will have medical support, as well as mobile EMS units patrolling the course during the race. In addition, each aid stations will have basic medical supplies, i.e. Band-Aids, Vaseline, etc.
What is a pacer?
At BDR, we will have pacers available to help you reach your goal time! Pacers are local runners who will run a specific pace to help athletes reach their time goals.
Can I bring my kid in a stroller?
You are more than welcome to run with your jogging stroller, but you must start in the back of the corral for the safety of other runners, and for you & your mini-me!
Can I run with my dog?

Can I defer my registration?
Up until a specific date, you can defer your race to the following year. Click here for details.
Can I transfer my registration?
If you would like to transfer your race registration to someone else, that is an option. Using this link, select to “Transfer to Another Runner”, you can do this for FREE up until 2 weeks out from the race date; check the site below for exact dates.
What is the Health and Fitness Expo?
The expo is the pre party to race day! Join us at our FREE Health & Fitness Expo – for two days, exhibitors will offer free samples, showcase the latest in running gear, sports apparel, health & nutritional information and much more. Pick up your race packet, some last-minute race essentials before race day and be sure to visit exhibitors again on race day.
Can I pick up my packet on race morning?

Lost & Found
If you have found something, or lost something, please visit our awards stage or registration tent.
Change the Race Distance
If you would like to downgrade your race distance visit the registration tent an hour before your scheduled event. (based on availability)
Awards
Overall, Masters, Grand Masters and Age Group awards are given for each distance; we will announce on race morning estimated times for the award announcements.
Where can I get my Finisher Certificate?
Congrats on your finish!
If you would like your Finisher Certificate, you can obtain that from RunSignUp.com. Your profile MUST be public for you to review it and print/share if you would like.

What do we get to enjoy post race?
Runners get to enjoy a fun post race party including food & drink! Your friends & family are welcome to join, but the race food & beverage are only for registered runners.
Can my friends & family join me after the race?
Of course, they are more than welcome to join! But please, the food & beverage is only for registered runners.
